chalk board paint project

I love this old antique vintage windows that they sell at my favorite antique store. I bought one for our house when we first moved in it and just LOVE it! So, you know how I have been talking wanting to use the chalk board paint? I thought if I reused this old window as the as the 'board' part of the Chalkboard, it would be unique and still stick with the style of my house!

Here's how I did it:

Vintage window. . .

sand off some of the chipping paint, you want to leave some of the paint to keep the vintage look.

you will need some essentials. . .

measure and drill in the appropriate anchors/nails.

i measured and placed my anchors at 1 1/2 inches in due to the heaviness of the window.

and the finished product. . .

I placed it in the kitchen on a wall that was closest to back doors. It makes such a simply impact!
