Save me, please!

it all started with a commercial, with a catchy tune, that grabbed her attention. . .and the "I get that mommy!" began.

I kept resisting(which those of you who know me, know this is a hard thing for me to do), but 2 weeks after her asking and it just so happen to come out on my birthday. . .I was feeling generous. . . and gave in.

Let me say for the record, I did not think this obsession with 'Barbie's' began until ALOT later on, like 5 or 6 or 7 years old.

I introduce to you. . .Barbie and the Three Musketeers

WHAT WAS I THINKING??? Her news obsession is now played at least 4 times a day(which includes us getting in the car for even 1 minute). The DVD goes to sleep with her in her DVD case that she carries around and of course....I just had to get her her 1st Barbie to go with her 1st Barbie DVD, which also goes to bed with her.

I now know ever word to the movie, as does she!

This is my fault, huh? When will it stop? When I be saved from my own doing? i do think the movie is cute though.

Today it's about: List a few things you can not live without!

__________________________________________________________________

Ear plugs! I can not sleep with out these little precious things! I am a extremely light sleeper and these little guys have saved my life{at least during the night time that is}! I use the purple ones!

DirecTV's TiVo/DVR! I LOVE catching up on all my shows that I miss while Lil B is awake or that Ben doesn't like watching!

Cover Girl's Perfect Blend Black eyeliner! This is the best eyeliner! I have used it since I was in high school! A little trick: heat the eyeliner up with your blow dryer to apply thick and heavy.

My phone! This little pink slice of heaven has made me one happy girl! Can't wait for Verizon to come out with there version of the iphone! Yay Apple!

. . .My laptop! I love my laptop! And since living out in the middle of NO where, this little guy has kept us up with the 'times'.

Although, for Christmas I am asking for the Mini Laptop, so I can hand this bad boy over to my hubby who will be deploying next year.

My Sonicare toothbrush! Makes me feel like I have been to the dentist after every cleaning!

Pumpkin Decorating!

SUPER EASY!
Here's how to get your pumpkins to look like this:
I just picked up these Crystal jewels at Hobby Lobby for $6.99(which they normally have half off.) I simply just added them around the pumpkin and added a Bow!
{you can use a permanent black marker too add the swirls template}
Told you it was easy! Let me know if it works out for you! Plus, this can carry you into Fall!

Halloween Decorations!

I got this cute idea over at Everyday Chaos for my BOO sign, and it turned out better then I imaged! It was super simple and I just added some crow ribbon to add a little something to it.

Also, I was over at Tatertots and Jello and she had some other cute ideas. I bought my bat cut outs from Martha Stewart at Michael's. You can click here for your own bat template if you want to DIY!
Check out how cute it turned out! Lil' B really enjoys it too!

Fall Decorations

i want to recreate this Pottery Barn display on MY front porch! with out spending the PB price! i know i will not be able to do it JUST like this because my front porch isn't exactly like this one, but i atleast want to try!

I already have one urn and i picked up some lanterns at Target and Walmart that I think might work. I have a Fall wreath that I got last year from TJMaxx, that looks similar and orange and white pumpkins, so now I just need a few more things.

Now I just to find the crows, fall garland, and Vine pumpkins!

These Vine Pumpkins are from Crate and Barrel and are BIGGER and CHEAPER! Check them out Here! I am totally getting these's!

Ok, so I found some Feathered Crows for a better price as well, here and here.

Let me know if you have any suggestions on places to find some of theses things for a great deal!

"Daddy TAKE me to skool!"

Ben had a night flight the evening before, so got to go into work a little later then normal(he is normally out of the house by 5:30a.m.), so he got to take Lil B to school{aka:skool}. This made his and her day! Look how adorable they both are! Lucky me!

She didn't even say BYE to me, I bascially had to hold her down to give me a hug and kiss! Didn't think that started until she was in a teens....

Birthday Surprise

FOR ME! Yes, me! As most of you know, I am not one for birthday's, but I must admit, I was taken back and delighted that so many of my friends loved me this much to do something so nice for me. Of course I must give most of the credit to my loving husband and benevolent friend Colleen for being sneaky and put this hoopla together.

Some of us at the dinner portion of the celebration.

My Dapper hubby and myself.(thanks for all the flowers babe)

Blowing out the candles from the beautiful cake Colleen made for me!

We even got our dance on!

You ask...ok it's your birthday, so how old are you? I guess you will never know! wink wink

Impluse Fashion Show

A group of us got to go to a Fashion Show at Impulse Boutique with proceeds going to Main Street! Let me just tell you what a blast we had and wonderful the models were. Very Hip, Classy, Chic, and Trendy!
We were VIP and got the best goodie bag to go along with our great sits!
I even snagged up some other goodies after the show too!
Thanks Impulse and great work Keri and everyone who was involved!

impromptu trip

Over Labor Day weekend we decided to met my mom in Nashville, TN to take a little vacation last minute vacation!
Let me just say this is one of the most beautiful towns I have been too! So much history, so much to do, and so many things to visit!

We do so many things in a 3 day period; Aquarium Dining, Grand Ole' Opry,Nashville Zoo, Country Music Hall of Fame, Famous Jack's Bar-b-que, beautiful downtown Nashville, and we did manage to get a little shopping in at Opry Mills Mall!

The best part of the trip: getting to spend quality time with my mom(aka:Yaya). This was the first time my mom and Blakely got to spend one and one time together for a long period of time and she soaked it up(both of them did)!

Thanks Mom for everything! We had a blast! We love you!

First Day of School

Our beautiful baby girl had her 1st day of school(PDO) today and she did wonderfully!
We wanted to do something special for her, so I made her a cake{her favorite, Chocolate with Vanilla Buttercream Frosting}, asked her what her favorite meal was, and we got her a few surprises.

This beautiful dinner is all about Blakely and her request, "Cheese Grits". I know true southern!

To make is EXTRA special I decorated the dining room table in a crayon theme.
To make the crayon bouquets, I simply used a small juice cup, lined it with crayons using floral wire(or rubber bands would work too), and added some flowers!

Happy First Day of School Blakely! We love you!

Found the Raincoat!

to go with her rain boots! I saw this on a blog that a friend introduced me too. Eloise and Henry! It has matching rain boats to go with it, but I think her ballet rain boots will look just as cute, plus I am going to get the umbrella as well!

Tell me how freakin cute this thing is!

Brown is the new Black

well with nail color that is. . .

AND I LOVE IT! o.p.i has several different shades out this year that beautiful, but if you even go the the drug store you will see many more for half the price!

i would take a picture of my feet to show you how gorgeous these colors can be on you, but i have ugly feet and it might scare you.

let me know if you try it! it works for wonderfully for fall and winter seasons!
